Tumi Rahim, Tumi Karim, Tumi Rahaman - Instrumental Music of a Bangla Spiritual Song from an Old Movie "Bhalo Manush"

Instrumental music of a Bangla movie song from 1980s. It was a spiritual song and the lyrics was written by my father Masud Karim for the movie "Bhalo Manush" - meaning "Good Man".

English Transliteration of this song:

Tumi Rahim, Tumi Karim, Tumi Rahaman
Amar gunah maaf kore dow Allah meherban
Tumi Rahim, Tumi Karim, Tumi Rahaman
Amar gunah maaf kore dow Allah meherban

Tumi Malik, Tumi Daata, ami gunahgar
Chai koruna tomar
Tumi Malik, Tumi Daata, ami gunahgar
Chai koruna tomar

Aaj tumi shohay na hole je
Kede kede firi hay
Khoda ami nirupay
Amar dukher doriyate utheche tufan
Kemon kore par hobo tai bhebei pereshan

Tumi Rahim, Tumi Karim, Tumi Rahaman

Tumi Rahim, Tumi Karim, Tumi Rahaman

My English translation, sorry, could not preserve the poetic essence intact:

You are Rahim, You are Karim, You are Rahaman
Forgive my sins God the merciful

You are the owner, you are the giver and I am the sinner
Need your sympathy
Today if you are not in favor
I return with tears
God I have no other way
Storm has risen in my river of sorrow
I am stressed ruminating how can I cross this river

You are Rahim, You are Karim, You are Rahaman
Forgive my sins God the merciful

Human being who is the best creation in your world
Feels very helpless today
Some in disease, some in grief and some in danger
die restless alas!
God, in hope and despair
You make us cry, you make us laugh
Everything is your glory
End all the sorrows of this poor soul

You are Rahim, You are Karim, You are Rahaman
Forgive my sins God the merciful
